We successfully fulfilled the role of project manager in the web-presence renovation project of the Hungarian representative of one of the biggest multinational construction groups, Swietelsky. Our job was to provide efficiency and coordination for the work of different participants of the project.


As is typical for bigger multinational company projects, several suppliers (developers, image designers) were involved in the work together with the client’s own management, IT support and quality management groups working in three different locations, so the main challenges were to assure efficient outwork and provide the necessary information flow and transparency. We’ve reached the success of the project using TFS based task-assignment and organization, with multi-level on-line communication (mail, Skype) with regular reports via telephonic conferences, also taking a major care to assure all communication remains well traceable. Development of the new web concept was carried out in several steps and based on clear indications of the client, while the required functionality was based mainly on the previous abilities of the system, supplemented with the (mainly administration type) needs raised in the meantime. Development was carried out with agile methodology in multiple sprints, functionality and interface was tested by the working groups of the client.
